Dress - Fun and Fabulous - anything goes from Fancy to Fancy Dress, Hedonistic to Heroic, Elegant to Extravagant.
Come for some any or all of the event. Plus ones and plus twos are welcome. Little ones and the odd pet, human or otherwise. There will be lots going on to entertain everyone. Fun and games, music and dancing, laughter and life, food and frivolity.
Book one of our fabulous Glamping Bell tents if you feel you may need to sleep. Stay in a local B & B, Hotel or Pub. Bring your own tent and pitch it in the paddock or on Swan island where you can relax in a hammock and wistfully watch the Welland wander by.
Getting here is easy. Fast trains from London Kings Cross to Peterborough take just 50 minutes and run 4-8 times per hour. We are a short taxi ride from the station where taxis are always readily available. Thameslink trains also run directly from Brighton and East Croydon. You can get a cross country train to Stamford or Peterborough from The Midlands.
We are about 100 miles north of London up the A1, so driving from London takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. Please note though that the postcode takes you to a farm in a field across the road. We are the only house on the south side of the main road and have a white footbridge and big trees surrounding us.
There are rivers and streams and water everywhere - places to swim, to canoe and to paddle. So don't forget your trunks, your Victorian bathing suit, your wetsuit or your birthday suit should you wish to take a dip. Do keep an eye on your little ones though - the river crocodiles are frequently hungry.
