The Granary and its 12 acres of grounds give plenty of space for all the family to relax, explore and enjoy the English countryside. You can take out a kayak on the river, go for a wild swim, build a den, have a picnic or go for a walk or cycle around the grounds. If you want to venture out and about the local area is a great one for cycling.
There are four bathrooms, three with showers and one with a bath and shower. The dining room on the ground floor has a beautiful oak extending refectory table which can seat up to 16 people. The lavish furnishings and gentle candlelit ambiance provide the perfect setting for your dinner parties during your stay.
The mill pond at the front of the house is a great place to meet our resident swan family, the call of fen pheasants can be heard across the fields and a barn owl regularly hunts at dawn and dusk in the grounds. The River Welland forms one of our boundaries and is teaming with fish, the extensive gardens and islands are fantastic for exploring, picnics or den building.
The Granary is situated just off the Stamford Road on the northern edge of the delightful Lincolnshire village of West Deeping, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book and described in Sir Nikolaus Pevsner's Buildings of England for Lincolnshire as ‘uncommonly charming'.
