The Home of Golf, the third oldest University in the English-speaking world, and the oldest University in Scotland, St. Andrews is a beautiful town on the east coast of Scotland which is host to these most esteemed of institutions. Golden beaches stretch for miles and the accompanying dunes play host to the Old Course, the most famous golf course in the World.
The ruins of the Castle and Cathedral sit proud atop the seaside cliffs, giving clues to the rich heritage of this most special of towns. The first settlers came here in the Stone Age, and religion and learning have sculpted the town as you find it today.
