BE OUR GUEST AT THE GRANARY
The highlights of the building include the large and comfortable sitting room on the first floor, which has masses of exposed stonework and has windows overlooking the garden and millpond on two sides. This room has a ski-lodge feel and you can relax into the comfy sofas and listen to the mill stream. Full of light during the day and cosy in the evenings, it is a great place to gather and play games or watch movies with the surround sound.
FACILITIES
The Granary has between 6-8 bedrooms all with king size beds. There are also two pull out single beds in two of the double rooms to make family rooms. The Granary was built in 1773 and is a Grade II* listed building, so the bedrooms are cosy and on the top floor you do need to take care as the beams are at head height for those slightly taller people.
The dining room on the ground floor has a beautiful oak extending refectory table which can seat up to 16 people. The lavish furnishings and gentle candlelit ambiance provide the perfect setting for your dinner parties during your stay.

Our kitchen has a large range cooker and a large American style fridge freezer, both suitable for a house full of friends. The name of the original carpenter of the building is engraved on the oak beams. The Kitchen opens up onto the large terrace overlooking the millpond and mill wheel. It is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or an evening BBQ if the weather is conducive.
